Don't dive into the dark!
The sun is going down earlier and the sky is dark after 6:15pm. You know what that means right? It's time to install new LED lights for your #pool ! If you're anything like my family... we love night swims and since in Florida it doesn't get too chilly (maybe for a month, if that!) we can enjoy our pool all year long. Installing the new #LED lights ensures your family endless nights of fun. Rain Rain Go Away...
Overwhelmed by all the rain we've been getting?
We live in Florida, and with that being said we all know... it rains A LOT. Often people ask us if there is anything they should do if their pool gets a lot of rain water and overflows? Well, you can drain it a little bit if you really need to – but be careful! Draining your pool can damage the equipment so only let it drain back to the NORMAL level. Next, you should really check the pH and Alkalinity level, if you need assistance there – we can help! The rain water can lower the pH and the alkalinity will take a big hit, so be sure to check those before jumping in. Next, check the sanitizer levels… how is the chlorine? If you water has been contaminated, which is often caused from rain… your sanitizer will start to work, lowering it’s level – so get that back up! Last but not least, and this isn’t necessary but if you feel the need… you can shock your pool. However, why not put yourself to ease and call Blue Ribbon Pools to come out and do all of that for you? We would love to help you and have maintenance workers 24/7
